Mental Wellness Program
Our Mental Wellness Program connects licensed and insured mental health professionals who volunteer their time and expertise to low-income Coloradans in need of counseling. Each year, the program connects over 1,000 individuals to free counseling and mental health services in their communities.
Senior Companion Program
Spark's Senior Companion Program is a vitally important program and a part of AmeriCorps Seniors, a United States government agency. The Senior Companion Program engages individuals 55 years and better to realize the independence of older adults in their home and as a team, continue to be vibrant, contributing members of our communities.
Retired & Senior Volunteer Program
Spark's RSVP is now operational in 7 Colorado counties! RSVP is one of the largest volunteer efforts in the nation for individuals aged 55 and better and matches older adults who are willing to help with local organizations on the front lines of meeting community needs. Food insecurity is the focus area of service for Spark's programs.
Spark the Change Colorado's Training & Engagement Programs
At Spark, we're a community connector who helps our non-profit partners rethink the way they use volunteers to address community needs. We offer a variety of trainings and ways to engage, including Board Services, Civic Circle Discussion Series, MYCVA Award, Service Enterprise, Spark Lunch & Learns, and our Volunteer Engagement Training Program.
Spark the Change Colorado's Youth Resources
About 15.5 million youth volunteer, providing 1.3 billion hours to community service projects each year! That's 55% of young people ages 12 to 19, which is close to double that of adult volunteerism. The numbers don't lie, youth volunteers make a BIG impact!
