Habitat for Humanity Volunteer Orientation

Join Habitat Metro Denver’s incredible community of volunteers who dedicate thousands of hours of their time each year in support of affordable housing!

Volunteer Orientation provides an overview of Habitat Metro Denver’s mission, programs, and volunteer opportunities that range from one-day projects to ongoing Core positions throughout the organization. Whether you want to swing a hammer, support our ReStores, attend events, or work in our office, you are critical to helping us build homes, change lives, and transform our community.

At the end of Volunteer Orientation, you will see first-hand how you can make a difference during a “behind the scenes” tour of our construction warehouse or a ReStore.

Volunteer Orientations are held once a month for anyone who wants to learn how to get involved with Habitat Metro Denver. It’s highly recommended if you are interested in becoming an ongoing, Core volunteer. Orientation includes a walking tour. Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes.
