Board Member at Central Visitation Program
Central Visitation Program is a non-profit in the Denver Metro area with a mission to enhance relationships between children and parents of low-income families by providing supervised visitation, exchanges and parenting support.
Central Visitation Program’s Board is a Governance Board, overseeing policy, programs, fundraising and strategic planning. The Board of Directors meets seven times a year (six regular meetings and an annual meeting). These meetings are usually Saturdays from 10:00am - 12:00pm. Board members are expected to attend fundraising events and invite others they know to attend as well.
Board members are expected to become donors to the organization but there is no specific give/get requirement for board members at this time. Board members are asked to serve on a committee, current committees include fundraising/special events, board recruitment, and finance/audit.
