Organization Profile

Sacred Heart House of Denver

Sacred Heart House of Denver provides a Continuum of Services to homeless mothers with children and single women to enable them to secure stable housing and achieve and maintain self-sufficiency.

Through the In-House Stabilization Program, we provide safe shelter and emergency services for the women and children we serve. With case management, women receive resources for housing and additional services to address issues that led to their homelessness. Life Skills classes help facilitate their stabilization.

As women move to stable housing, the Follow-Up Program helps them reestablish homes and provides ongoing support to former residents to help them increase their self-sufficiency and avert future homelessness.

Through our Transitional Housing Program, we provide up to two years of affordable housing in six agency-owned units with case management for mothers who are enrolled in education programs or have sustainable employment, so they can further increase their self-sufficiency. This program is open to residents of Sacred Heart House of Denver.
