Welcome to Raising Kindness!

The Raising Kindness program is a new and creative program that will empower children and families to do good in their community. The goal is to connect school aged children to community issues in the Denver Metro area through impactful hands-on service learning projects. Interactive activities will provide children the opportunity to learn the importance of volunteerism, leadership and community engagement. Youth will have the opportunity to locally practice kindness while encouraging the development of empathy, gratitude and positive self-esteem. As the program grows, Raising Kindness plans to engage middle and high school age students in programming as volunteers at the events.

Raising Kindness will partner with Denver area non-profit organization to create projects that will benefit various populations in our community. Our goal is to create volunteer projects that will be impactful, inclusive, fun and engaging for all school-aged children and families. Projects will address issues and serve populations in our community including animal welfare, children, disabilities, disaster relief, education, health, homelessness, hunger, environment, seniors, veterans, women and more! Project sites are held at various locations around the Denver metro area.

Projects are designed for an elementary school aged child and adult supervision is required at all events. Adults are welcome to purchase their own project or help their children. Children 3 and under are welcome to attend and to help an older sibling or adult! Our goal is to keep projects affordable with the generous support of sponsors and our community.
