The mission of Clothes To Kids of Denver is to provide free school clothing to students in need or in crisis.

Age Limitations: Youth volunteers must be at least 13 years old and in high school to volunteer. Teenage volunteers can work independently and do not need an adult to volunteer with them.

Age Limitations: Ages 14 & up with an adult. We often have Boy Scout projects, trail cleanup or painting projects that are appropriate for youth groups. Teens ages 14-18 can serve as summer Jr. Counselors, and Teens ages 16 & up can volunteer for most of our other volunteer opportunities.

Colorado Talking Book Library

A free service to Coloradans of all ages who are unable to read standard print material due to visual, physical, or learning disabilities whether permanent or temporary. CTBL provides audio, Braille, and large prints and magazines. 

Age Limitations: Usually 16 year old is our standard minimum age, but we frequently assess the individual and the assignment. We have worked with students ages 13-14 for appropriate projects. Currently we have very limited jobs for students.

9Health Fair 
Colorado Front Range

To promote health awareness and to encourage individuals to assume responsibility for their own health. The 9Health Fair is Colorado's largest community event. The 9Health Fair provides low cost blood chemistry testing and free health screenings to thousands of participants annually. Medical and non-medical volunteers are needed to assist at various 9Health Fair sites in the Spring and Fall every year!

The Delores Project

Denver, CO 

The Delores Project provides safe, comfortable shelter and personalized services for unaccompanied women and transgender individuals experiencing homelessness. We also work to end homelessness by advocating for housing solutions.

Age Limitations: Ages 5-7 can do very minimal tasks, based on the child's abilities, with strict adult supervision. Ages 8-11 can help with some prep and some service under adult supervision. Ages 12-15 can do prep and service under adult supervision. Ages 16-17 can do both without a parent and parent/guardian signature on their Volunteer Agreement.

We Don't Waste

We Don't Waste is an innovative food recovery organization. We reduce food waste by recovering food from venues, events, caterers, restaurants, and other major food distributors. We then deliver the food to community-based non-profit agencies serving vulnerable populations, thereby increasing food security within those populations. We serve as the link between food sources and the underserved. 

Age Limitations: The youngest volunteers we allow are 10 years old or in 5th grade, and there must be adequate chaperones or adult supervision.
