What is Our Impact?
Each year, our statewide Mental Wellness Program connects over 8,000 individuals to FREE counseling and mental health services in their communities, no insurance required. Nearly 25% of services are provided within the Pueblo community. We currently engage 18 host and partner sites in Southern Colorado. We host monthly Teen Kickback Events and 8+ support groups for survivors of domestic violence, older adults, LGBTQIA+ community members, and more. Our Southern Colorado team is currently focused on continued expansion into Huerfano, El Paso, Baca, Otero and Las Animas counties.
About the Fundraiser
This year's fundraiser was a luncheon hosted at Pueblo Community College. The luncheon included a delicious meal, a silent auction, and the chance to connect with other community members who support mental health awareness.
Heart of Pueblo Don Mares Award

This prestigious award recognizes those who embody the spirit of giving, compassion, and heart. Congratulations to MWP Volunteer Genevieve Gonzalez, who received the 2024 Don Mares Award in honor of her extraordinary work in the Pueblo community to advocate for and support those struggling with mental health issues.
