History:In 2022, Public Health Americorps funded a 3-year pilot program with the goal of providing school-based mental health supports in Colorado.
Workforce development initiative engages graduate interns, mental health professionals, non-traditional students, and individuals interested in school-based mental health careers Places and supports clinically supervised Mental Health Associates in schools during the school year (~20 hours/week) Programming that delivers a best practice/evidence-based internship aligned with MSW core competency requirements Leverages funding and strategic partnerships to deliver high quality, mutually beneficial services for students, Host Sites, and Associates |
